fitting mud-flaps any ideas ?

hi i got these mud-flaps off ebay and im worried when i fit these on my 2003 147 they'll just fall off due to the inside of the wheel arch is just fabric like the mats in the car and i feel there's not enough strength in the wheel arch to keep them from fallen off so has anyone fitted these or now how to fit them on but i do have a feeling im missing a metal brace anyways there's pics below as well if that helps thanks

Think they would normally be screwed into the arch itself not just the liner-dont think they are 'official' 147 ones as they are little stubby things that wrap around the body a bit.
