Rear brakes help!
Recently noticed N/S rear brake pads looked very worn, when changing them outside pad was down to bare metal whilst inside pad had plenty of pad material left (O/S pads both had plenty of material left on. Put the above down to seized piston in caliper as it wouldn't budge at all even using Laser wind-in tool (O/S piston wound in completely free with no problems).
Have replaced caliper (albeit reconditioned but piston again moves completely free) but with everything re-assembled when applying the foot brake the piston moves out and pushes pads onto discs but doesn't seem to back off leaving the disc seized tight. Thought the problem was the hand brake cable because when it was hooked onto rear of caliper the mechanism wasn't back against the stop (again O/S seems ok and is back against its stop). Have unhooked the cable from the the rear of caliper which now goes back to stop as it should. Disc spins freely ok but again as soon as pads are applied via pedal they don't seem to back off leaving the disc stuck.
Many thanks in advance
