Alfa 156 1.6TS Timing Sensor & Crank Sensor
I have recently had the inevitable timing belt issue and had the inlet/exhaust valves bent! Having had the head refurbished and new valves, guides etc.... installed I am rebuilding the head and am curious about the relationship and position of the Crank sensor in relation to the Cam belt timing sensor.
As i am unaware of the precise position of the crank sensor, in relation to the cam timing sensor is there a mark on the crank timing pulley to indicate the precise loacation of the crank sensor in relation to the cam timing sensor?
I understand the TDC of piston number 1, but this could clearly be out of phase by 180degrees as the piston could either be in compression or exhaust in relation to the Cam sensor?
Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated.
