Aircon pipe replacement on 2000 156?

Has anyone hereabouts ever replaced their air conditioning pipes?

I'm talking about the pair that go from the evaporator/bulkhead connection to the joints near the front of the car by the engine air filter box.

I have removed the old ones (pinhole in liquid pipe under battery) and have a new set to go on, but wondered if it was easier to replace them individually or clipped together as a set?

It was a right effort to get the old ones out past various other pipes and wires, and any previous experience would be handy..the A/C side of it is fine as I am F-Gas (C&G 2079) qualified and have all the charging equipment to hand, its just the sheer Alfaness of getting the pipes back in that is causing some trepidation
