Top Wishbone Bracket Question....

Can/does the top wishbone bracket wear out ?

I ask as I have quite a bit of play which allows the upright and therefore the wheel to move.
Basically the big bolt that holds the wishbone is able to move, so it's like the holes in the bracket have elongated/worn bigger over time.

I about to replace the wishbone anyway, but if I need to replace the bracket too then obviously do this at the same time.

I suppose they could wear out, but hold onto yourself, look at the price of them....

...I stripped the thread of one of the studs, when I found out the cost of the replacement I simply drilled it out and replaced with a nut and bolt.

A replacement wishbone and bolt may suffice.

All the best

I have a supplier of second hand parts so won't be paying anything near that !!! Unless he sees this and then puts his price up

I was expecting a much higher price from that link.
