Undo the bottom wishbone strut fork bolt and undo the 4 big bolts at top of strut mount inside engine bay. Use a lump hammer to split the wishbone on the control arm. YouTube it for a video. Yes you need to lower the car before you tighten the fork to wishbone bolt. Red rubber grease is ok. But it does dry out. Best use pure silicone paste.
As for the nylok bolt on upper and lower wishbone. You can buy new bolts for piece of mind. But you can use Loctite. And be sure to use correct torque specs for the bolts as mine was not tight enough and knocking noise started after a few months after I put new arms on and nearly wrecked the alloy arm mount.
