Was wondering and in the link i posted it says the same , only that was in February , and the edit reads strange " Last edited by davealfa11; 04-01-11 at 16:52. Reason: cold weather " i dunno i'm confused , i think it was a crappy Renault extra 1.7 diesel van i was driving and the heater stayed hot . Thank you for your input .
The hose in question is rubber and just to the right of the plastic cover on top of the engine , between that and a plastic tube that is engine intake , if that stays or is cold its thermostat .
If you give this hose a squeeze it should compress easily moving the liquid/coolant and the coolant in the top up clear tank over to the left should move with the flow .
Just checked there after my engine cooled .
