Revving problem solved - update

In case you missed it and just for reference, in a recent post i said i had a problem whereby my car was revving high for no reason and thought it was a sensor fault or afm fault:

Basically the revs rise and fall. Rise to 2 -2250 rpm but never fall below 1500. It never stalls and never sits at the normal 1000. When standing still its like i'm gently reving the engine up and down.

(heres the thread): (Spoke to soon - Now i have a problem - Help!!!)

Well i took the car to S&H Motors in Poole. They put it on the diagnostic machine and it said there was no error. So they reset all the parameters and now no problem. Only cost 42 to fix and that was just for the hours labour for the diagnostic check.

Just a bit of info for those with issues that they think might end up costing fortunes when it could be something simple.

I dont care if she's got a face like Andrew Lloyd Webber licking ****** off a nettle. Send her my way!
