Well hellow again.
It has been over a year and been through 3 garages and still it is the same haha. Man if I didn't love the damn thing so much I would of scrapped it by now.
Full service x 2, New plugs, New Timing belt, new MAF, still runs like a dog. lumpy idle. I can now get above 5000 rpm but it looses more power above it. Below it it's almost like it has about 120 bhp. The Bora I've been driving was quicker I'm sure!
The spanner now thinks the baffling in the back box has screwed up and is blocking the pipe? Want's to cut it open and weld it back up after removing whatever is in there. I'm not so sure myself.
I think if this doesn't work I will be taking it to whereever someone mentioned earlier in the thread.
One thing I have noticed is that it used to change exhaust note at 3k, 4k and then again at 5k but now it is just monotone. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Half throttle seems to be best for acceleration as any more than that just makes it louder with no increase in accel.
I swear one day it will work again!
