When you removed the old CPS was there a rubber O ring on it?
When you installed the new CPS did you fit the new O ring that came supplied with it?
Countless times owners have fitted the new CPS and not realized that the old O ring is still inside the hole meaning that the sensor is unable to pick up a reading as it is twice the distance from where it should be, thus no signal input!... Double check to make sure.
You mentioned about reverse lights not operating in a previous post, I assume that you went through the process of checking fuses, bulbs etc... It may be an outside guess here but you haven't been swapping fuses over inadvertently have you thinking you were using a spare? Maybe as simple as that
Try turning the car over then remove the front bank alloy spark plug cover, now remove the left front coil pack... Remove the spark plug... is the electrode wet and smells of petrol or is it dry and light brown/grey in colour?... This will tell us a lot!
As a wild card, humour me.... Disconnect the battery terminals and leave it for 20 minutes then make sure you re-connect them securely, then try and start the car (no throttle pedal)
