Fellow friends, Please assist me, just recently, in the last month my car has intermittently struggled to start, turning over but just not starting, only to start perfectly a few minutes later or with a simple push start, then will go a week or so and do the same thing. What we have noticed is that the periods between the instances is getting shorter and it is taking longer to get it to start, so much so that today while idling in peak hour traffic it cut out and refused to start, even afetr being pushed a few times (hubby was not impressed) sure it was my inability to jump start it, of course this is far from the truth, ha ha. We waited and tried starting the car every few minutes, after about an hour and just when I offered to push him, no not in front of the nearest truck!! He said one last time, and it fired up no problem, we then drove for about an hour and no trouble at all. We got home relieved to have made it and turned the car off, I went out about 15mins later and she fired up first time I then turned the car off went inside and then about 30mins later decided to go to the shop, got in started and was idling and then it cut out??? Please assist with ideas as to what the issue could be. About 2 weeks ago the low oil pressure light came on, filled the oil but took a 2 days for the light to go off, could this be related?
