Cry Like A Baby Hailstorm body damage

Having just spent the best part of 1000 on cam belt change, disc pads and discs, water pump, two new tyres, new front suspension parts and booking in my beloved 156 1.8 TS for a replacement manifold and other minor works to get the car looking new, the heavens opened and it now looks like a Titleist golf ball.

Over 60 dents in the roof, more on the bonnet, boot lid, wings, rear quarter panels and even the bloody doors have dents. Yes, it was a big hailstorm (three weeks ago) with hailstones nearly the size of tennis balls (really!).

Good news, insurance will cover it, but 300 excess. Bad news, first quick estimate 1800, which means the lovely insurance company will write it off as they won't value it that much.

Anyone recommend a good dent remover, kit or anything? Writing it off would be a travesty as even though it has done 104,000 miles, it drives beautifully. It has a new Powerflo exhaust, and new spark plugs, so as you can imagine, I don't want it to go. I love my Alfa and don't mind saying it!

Any advice welcome.
