Well after much deliberation i've made my mind up to come back to GT ownership with a v6. I have missed my GT from the day i sold it.
Reality check time as i go back in my mind to the weak points of my GT jtd. The gearbox was awful in traffic and was wondering if the v6 came with another box. Or was my jtd box just an isolated downfall?
How easy is the beautiful v6 engine to work on etc. Obviously Ned would take care of the big jobs...but how easy is an oil change service. As i like to change my oil every 5k.
My GT will be used on track so chassis setup will be absolutely essential. I am thinking bilstein pss9's this time with Eibach ARB's and poly bushing the chassis.
Also thinking of doing a rear seat delete to get rid of some unnecessary weight for the track. But i want to do this properly. And get the rear carpetted, and would love to have a rear chassis brace fitted.
Cannot tell you how exited i am. And finding the right car is important to me. As i want this one to be a keeper.
