I would unscrew the mounting of the diesel filter, unclip the hoses after taking a photo of them, uncle the two cables at the top of the filter housing, raise diesel filter and unclip the connector to the water sensor at the bottom of the filter. Drain the diesel into a suitable container, unscrew the filter, make sure all the rubber gaskets come off the old filter, oil the new rubber gaskets, screw on new filter to the diesel filter housing, screw in water sensor and put it all back together. Switch on ignition 3 or 4 times to prime the new filter, and then start and check for leaks.
