Been driving for 3 days now, over 1400 kilometres, from 0 to over 2000 to 0 meters over sea level. same road back and forth.
and I was wondering about a couple of things now that I have really got to know my Alfa that I bought a little over a month ago.
While driving, I could almost not get the car up to speed when accelerating. if I for instance was driving at 80KpH, in fifth gear, and wanted to get to 100KpH or above, it was really slow. putting the pedal to the metal did not feel any different than having it barely pushed in, in terms of me and my two passengers getting pushed back in the seats.
When going up hills, when driving at aproximately 60KpH, I had to gear down to 3rd gear almost all the times, even 2nd gear to get up and maintain my speed.
My car is supposed to have 120BHP, but it feels less than a 93 Golf mk3 1.9TD that had 80BHP, driving the same distance, with one more person in it.
