Um, from memory....
Disconnect battery and remove from car.
Disconnect power cable to fusebox next to battery tray.
Unbolt and remove the fusebox (fusey bit levers upwards - 2 M6 nuts underneath)
Might pay to remove the MAF and the top trunking from the maf to throttlebody.
Take a picture on your phone of the thing with two cables attached to the top of the gearbox.
Remove the cables by squeezing the clips on top and pulling upwards.
Unbolt the 3 M8 bolts holding the linkage on. Panic not, it only goes on one way!
Remove linkage and look in disgust at those bushes.
Marking the linkage so you know WHICH WAY ROUND IT GOES remove the nut and washer.
Pull (or bash gently) the linkage arm.
Knock out crap bushes.
Grease it with plenty o copperslip.
Put in new bushes.
Put it all back together.
Be happy that gears are a joy, once again.
Can you tell which bit i didnt do first time round??
