If you remove the plastic wiper cowl trim, you should find an unused rubber grommet in the firewall, big enough to easily run powerwire as big as 0awg. Remove the grommet, and there should be some fibrous sound deadener (inside the cabin, other side of the hole). You can similar drill or cut this. The are on the other side of the hole is a void behind the glovebox. Run the wire through the hole and down towards the floor; if you look upwards from the passenger footwell behind the glovebox, you'll see the area and can grab the wire.

It is the perfect place but.
Can I just add:
Once you have the cable through and you are happy with its position, seal the cable in thoroughly with silicon sealant to avoid any issues with wet carpets etc.

With the unusually heavy downpours we have had recently, the channel can get full of water easily as there is only a small drain hole.
The last thing you need is rusty footwell's rotting from inside the car.... The outside is galvanised, but not inside

Cut a small hole in the grommet, push the cable through that and replace it ... save faffing with silicon sealant.

PS all Alfa's have a good sound system to start with ... it's under the bonnet!!
