the best way to examine the pipes or the joints is by removing the front headlight, which does involve slackening off the front bumper bolt.
Jack up car, remove front wheel and wheel liner
undo the bumper securing bolts, if I remember right,thats four across the top and three or four undeerneath, return to the front wing and remove the two holding the bumper to the wing. The bumper should be free apart from the wing bolts on the opposing side.
There are three 10mm bolts holding the light in place, undo them and disconnect the cable and withdraw through the font of the car, wiggling the now loose bumper around will allow its removal
You can then get a good view of the pump unions head on to see where the leak is coming from.
Removal of the pump is the same, just a matter of undoing the unions, connector, padding and the three rubber sandwich bolts securing it to the body.
