156 ebay anti roll bar link rods?

Hi im in the process of gathering parts to overhaul the suspension on my 156 SW. I came across this set of anti roll bar link rods on ebay 360256070781. At £18.95 thats a bargain for all four, but is it too much of one. Theyve sold loads so im guessing that someone here must have a set on their alfa. Are they any good or is it too good to be true. I dont mind pattern parts but this is really cheap.

Any first hand experience would be appreciated

thanks rich

That is so cheap, working it out backwards from a sellers point of view I make it:

£18.95 received

At that quantity of sales, they must be VAT registered, therefore pay £3.16 to the govt.

Even at the highest discount level, ebay listing fees, final value fees and Paypal fees will account for £1.70.

Then they have to post it, which is £2.20 for the smallest Royal Mail small packet, they may get this a bit cheaper if they use a franking account rather than a Post Office, presumably they do.

That leaves them with at the least £11.89, at the most about £12.50, to purchase 4 ARB links, presumably from Asia, and pay the wages for someone to deal with the sales.

I have no experience with these particular droplinks, but I don't think you can produce quality components and still make a profit at that sort of price point. But the most you can lose is £18.95 and a bit of your time, so maybe its worth giving it a go?

hi, i've used the front links and had to change one after about 8 months, but, that side had a big hit from a pothole.big enough to buckle both wheels on that side of the car!i changed both links and found that the one that didn't suffer the pothole had no play at all.
probably won't last as long as an 'oe' part but for the price,it is not too bad.
