I've got FSD's, Eibach Pro Kit and 18" wheels, I was well pleased when LJ and Andy decided to get B12's on theirs- what does that tell you?
The combo I've got is okay, it just feels firm, it's not great on rough roads, but if you want to go around a bend fast, it's really excellent. I've said a few times on these numerous FSD/Eibach threads that I don't think the FSD's get to work properly because of the lowered springs, I think that's why they're too harsh on poor surfaces. Being as well the marketing behind FSD's goes on about how nice they are on poor surfaces, they're obviously not supposed to be paired with such lowered springs. I'm sure they're nice with standard springs. At some point I may well put the FSD's on my sportwagon with it's standard veloce springs, albeit with new springs. I'd then either be looking at the B12 kit or Koni adjustables with Pro kit springs, at least then I could hopefully dial into some kind of compromise.
Strange that I'd consider cheaper Koni adjustables to FSD's, but that's how much I don't think the FSD's work with the Pro kits on rough roads.
It should be noted that I know sod all about suspension, but I know when a car feels right to me.
