For some reason, I can't post in your thread, it just locks up.
wanted to say: If I was you, I would strongly
consider buyign the parts from the Alfa dealer and taking it elsewhere for the work to actually be done. It seems to me you are being ripped off in a BIG way.
labour 6.8 hrs £ 176.80
Paint £ 139.20
Paint LAbour £ 88.40
Parts £ 227.44 (just a front bumper & fixings)
Total £631.81 ouch
OK, parts: very expensive, but that's the way it goes.
Overall painting cost £227.60. Seems a little expensive if they're just painting the bumper, probably not bad if the bonnet needs any attention too.
Labour costs for 6.8 hours £176.80 - What the hell are they charging you this for? Fitting a bumper and moving a bonnet? Almost 7 hours? They're taking the p155, surely.
I reckon if you take it to a reputable independant bodywork specialist they'll do a better job, and they'll charge you a lot less.
On my 145 I had the front bumper removed, stripped, prepared, painted, lacquered and replaced for £165 inc VAT. And they did an absolutely perfect job.
