Okay, now my problem is not indifferent to this: http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-...ng-squeek.html
Basically whenever the car is moving (1mph to 60+mph) the front drivers side wheel squeels. And squeels and squeels.
It doesn't do it when cold, but after 10-15mins of driving it starts. If I brake it stops. If I pull the handbrake up a little it stops, but releasing the handbrakes or brake and it starts again. Definitely the front wheel.
Now, I know my front wheel alignment is out, and has been since I had the front brakes, disks and tyres redone earlier in the year. It wasn't out much so I didn't worry about it too much until I noticed excess wear on the inside front passenger side tyre. Car is booked in to have that sorted on Monday.
Is it likely that the squeel will stop once the tracking is okay? Is it a case of I need to clean rust from the brakes? Apply grease to something?
I remember when the weather was hot last year, before the above work was done, the car did have a similar squeel when having been driven a while. But no-where near as bad as it is now.
Mechanic had the wheel off and check the brake work he did and said was fine, and no reason for it to squeel...
It's only in the last few weeks its gotten intollerable to drive as the squeel is now pretty loud!
