Sportwagon 156, 2002 Tow bar self fit?

Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me how easy it is to fit a refurbed 156 tow bar to a new car same year ect?

Depends on what make of towbar, I guess.......a Witter bar needs two vertical holes drilling through the chassis rails each side, three holes through the side of the spare wheel well, and four smaller holes drilling on the offside for the "spreader" plate inside the boot. Then another hole to run the wiring in from the bar to the boot.

Can you tell I've just removed one from a 156?

Sportwagon and saloon are the same AFAIK, although moving the trim in the Sportwagon can be a bit harder as its secured by the cubby-hole trims on each side at the top - you may be able to manage without removing these....they are a bit of a faff.....
