Alfaguy is right. They're not that big.
I spent a lot of time behind the wheel of the Ford and Mercury versions of that car (which were just a tiny titch smaller
) and while they can seat six officially (and about double that if you want to stuff in a pile of university students), they don't feel that big behind the wheel. A nice powerful V8 under the hood, RWD and a turning circle that is probably smaller than my Alfa's and they're great driving cars.
With upgraded brakes and suspension the Ford versions were the standard cop car for ages over here.
I've always wanted a two door Continental of that particular Mark V vintage.
I'm sure if you seached some of my old posts, you'd see a link or two that I've posted. I love the two door version, but the four door one doesn't work as well for me. Oh, and it has to be metallic true blue with a white landau top.
