OK, I can see now. BB you're a star!!
The feedpipe is obviously sealing the bleed nipple inside. When you pull it back, it opens. I pulled the cover off and could see the hole, but like you daren't try and turn it incase it wasn't movable.
Did the feedpipe come out completely,
i did not remove it completely I did not need to remove it at that time.
or stop after those 4mm?
3 to 4 mm was the point where fluids began to flow, so i just stopped it there
And I take it no fluid came out of the end where the feedpipe fits?
Just out of the bleed pipe.
Looks like a two man job this one ... unless I invest in the pressure type bleed system).
do not think 2 would be required, i guess once you remove the pipe completely that fluid will still fow so you cou drain them into a collection can. Just remeber that if you drain all the fluids the brake resevior will empty
So now having put it all back ... I'll have to take the battery out again ...
Oh well .... I wasn't doing anything this weekend ....
Errmmm .... just looked at the RepairCD ... and guess what ... apart from me blushing from embaressment ... it's the first item on the list! The image is pretty small though, so I'll use that as my excuse ... apart from the fact I left the damn CD in my office machine last Friday!
