ALFA 147

Well Happy Alfa 147 radio input

Still having trouble playing my ipod in my Alfa 147 (2001). There is no aux input available in the front of the radio, but I have been given some advice to buy a cable for the CD changer input at the back of the radio.

I have bought a cable with a blue socket which goes in the back of the radio, which is for the CD auto changer input. How do I force the radio to recognize the ipod when it is connected to play its music?
Thanks for any help.

There is plenty of info in the ICE forum, but granted, searching for the key words is tedious.

So, 'jump' your DATA-IN and DATA-OUT terminals. Should work with a 2001 headunit.

means you have to add a jumper wire between data-in and data-out in the blue plug.....

Ok and that is a speaker wire between them? And I saw you can put a switch in between to jump between cd and aux?
