Removal of BMC filter to clean
I'm away at the minute so asking this as I'm not with the car.
I'm planning on cleaning the BMC air filter on my CDA air intake and was just wondering if it's a job that'll need the under tray off or if you get to the filter from the top of the engine by taking the whole intake off and out of the bay. I've read up on cleaning and re oiling the filter and also about unplugging the whole MAF before restarting the car, but quite honestly I just haven't got a clue where the filter is positioned on these CDA things. It doesn't help that the garage (because of insurance liability and no doubt me getting in the way) wont let you get a good look at your car while its being worked on. It's driving me mad not feeling confident to work on this car, my Lancia Fulvia was easy, there was so much space in the engine bay.
