I have a 150HP Multijet engine and my EGR is deactivated.

Today I checked the value of EGR opened in % and it displays 3,998% in FES. It doesn't change if I rev the engine.

My question is this: could this reading be correct and the EGR is in fact 3,998% open, because of the soot build up before it was deactivated - hence, cleaning it would result in 0% open reading or is this value irrelevant now?
