156 Front Door threshold trim removal

Can anyone tell me how I can remove the trim that is located at the bottom of the door on my 156turismo please ? I have removed the screw at the front of the door pillar but I dont know if I need to slide it or pull it or what.....any help much appreciated!

what 'e said, but carefully. the clips are "barbed" and it's all too easy to snap the trim.

There is a tool you can get for about 5-10 that prevents you damaging the clips or the trim, if you're going to be taking the the trim off more than once or are changing it, it might be worth getting.

Trim clip slots are the weak link and break easily if even carefully levered up. Try sliding the trim forwards after, as you mention, removing the front screw.

Or you can use some force, after removing you need to
replace what was glowed with double sided adhesive with
some scotch adhesive so you can remove again with ease
and mount it as you like, all the internal parts are glowed
that is if you want to remove the whole panal.

Thanks Guys, have done it with only breaking one clip, no problem.....Tow bar and electrics now done!!
