Cry Like A Baby Time to say goodbye!

My beloved 147 has finally given up the ghost, its a sad sad day indeed and one that I don't think I will ever get over She has taken me to every corner of the UK more than once including some off roading in Scotland! She has taken me to Europe and back without ever missing a beat and has been driven hard around the dales and still never moaned. She has been caught up in a police chase and even flipped her top but always came back strong.

It looks like the cam shaft oil seals have given way (not 100% on this but looks like it) and with a 2nd baby not far away, I just can't realistically repair her this time. Plus the need for 4 doors and a big boot will kick in soon.

Just like to say thank you to all who have given me bits of advice over the time I have used this forum, you have been a great help in keeping my 125,000 9 year old Bella on the road and running as good as the day she left the factory.

If anyone does happen to have a diesel 156 going for under a grand please give me a shout as after taking out a few 'other' cars it has made me realise just how bland pretty much everything else out there really is.

Thanks again on this sad day

Has it got a leather interior!? Onwards and upwards and all that. Might be interested in buying it if so. Sorry about your car mate.

It feels so bad when you have to part ways from the love of your life
