Yes it did Roswell
My first service on this car. I posted my satisfaction here in a very obscure thread :-
http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/showp...postcount=2376 (Just noticed???)
Originally they said the service would be £250 on the phone. When I arrived there today, as clear as daylight on a designated board it said £285 for a 24K service on a 156 JTS
They spotted one of the front tyres were illegal (I didn't know or notice before
) and the other front tyre had 4mm tread left which they said was okay. I decided to replace both at the same time for Pirelli P6000ís, not the best choice I know. But I was stuck at the time. So that added another £88 * 2.
Okay - this is the last year of the warrantee and I'm hoping to go for a specialist in the fourth year. They did replace the warn bushes under the warrantee and did all the checks I asked them too, so that was good.
Overall I guess I'm happy with the result
Most of all, receiving the car in the mint condition I gave it to them
I had a bad experience of this before with another main dealer
EDIT: I'm not advocating that £285 for a service is good value, not at all... but since it's the only money I've spent on the 156 I can't really complain. Tyres are consumables as we know
What did shock me though was the board detailing the Fiat service costs
They were more or less the same as the Alfa
I didn't know that
