156: Bleeding the clutch

On a 156 where is the clutch slave cylinder & its bleed nipple?

I hope to be replacing the brake fluid tomorrow.

On top of gearbox as you look down on it. Slave is tucked away inside some of the gearbox casing. It might even have a small cover plate.

You should be able to see the hydraulic hose and if the cover is missing, you should also see the black bleed nipple cover.

I've taken a screen image of my repair cd and hope this helps, although this one is from the section on changing the hoses. The bleed image isn't as clear. This shows the cover plate as well.
