Thanks for the tips, i did not know that.
The broken cable was a 50/50 guess but most time the passengers side components will go before the drivers side.
In order to get access under the car you will need a *pit* or to jack up the car to allow you to crawl under in on your back. PLEASE be careful when doing this !!!!!!
Attached are 4 pictures.
1st: you need to slacken the handbrake adjuster to allow you to fit the vew cable. Normally the h/b activate after 4 or 5 clicks, you will ned it to click 10 times to allow enough slack. use a small socket [ 13mm ] or spanner.
2nd: you need to open the clip at the rear of the fuel tank & a 10mm bolt near the rear wheel to allow you ro remove the old cable.
3rd: pull back any *grommets* on the old & now cable to allow the cable to feed thro the caliper & hand brake mounting points.....remove the old cable. To remove the front you need to unclip the *balck clip* that joins the 2 h/b cables then rotoate the cable CW & lift upwards.
4th: before inserting the new cable grease up the new cable, at both ends at the grommets, even if there is some on it from the AR dealer.
5th. Tighten up any slack to get h/b back to 5 *clicks*.
Use you logic, if at 1st you don't succeed try again, its really easy to do
