wondering what to

it is a shame, it is a nice car, but when you modify a car you always do it how *you* want it to look. this makes it harder to sell because not everyone will like it. one thing will put someone off.
unfortunately with a lot of modified cars the sellers seem to think the modifications mean that the car is worth more especially where bodykits are concerned. you might have spent (example) £2000 on the kit but that does not mean the car is worth £2000 more, or even £1000 more, it's still the same car underneath.
i'm sorry if that sounds harsh but this opinion i'm sure is echoed by lots of people. maybe try and price your car at the high end of that age 156's prices and be prepared to negotiate.
Quick Edit: the wheels would put me off as they are not my personal taste - i think 156's look best with either standard wheels or multispoked wheels. I also personally think that a set of body coloured wing mirrors would look better - you may be able to get a set quite cheaply from a scrappy and it could be the difference between spending some extra on the car and getting a sale, or not spending on it and not sellling it. The bonnet would look ten times better if body coloured too, but unless you know someone in the trade, that would be a costly tweak.
