2007 Alfa GT with Bose- possible Cause of horrendous audio feedback noise?
Hi all the radio in my GT with BOSE had recently started making a low level feedback noise - regardless of wether the headunit was turned on or off.
This has now turned into a VERY loud constant feedback which appears to emit mainly from the rear left speaker. Again bizarely with either radio either turned on or off and same noise playing cd's.
I put the Gt to the local garage who simply disconnected the headunit and noise stopped so they've diagnosed a replacement headunit to cure. But because the radio tunes in , plays cd's etc i'm not sure if its the cause? or possibly the amp or a wiring issue perhaps?
I have checked leads to the rear sub and amp and everthing appears as it should be. I also discsonected the wire to the rear left speaker whish seems to emit the loudest noise but the noise then just diverted to the right hand speaker?
any suggestions on things to check or a sure fire method of eliminating the the likley culprit?
It's a ruining a great car for me.
thanks for any help in advance Fraz
