Does blowing Flexi increase MPG?

As per title...

The flexi on my 1.6 is audibly blowing (at the joints) and the mesh is frayed, but the whole thing shows no sign of falling off. How badly does an exhaust have to blow before MPG is affected?

Will be affected allot... the O2 sensor is next to it, and too much oxygen will be let in around the O2 sensor where the hole is and throw the readings for the fueling off for the ECU, mine went on the way back from an AROC convention at Duxford, and i was using fuel way too quickly on the journey back...

120 ish for an aftermarket downpipe
