55 reg 156 jtd mjet airbox issue
I have been reading lots of threads on here about changing from the standard set up to an induction kit with cold air feed.
Not overly concerned about power or noise, I just have a knackered airbox and some worn and iffy pipework.
have had a look at the system and am a bit confused.
Should i just remove the airbox, connect an enclosed filter below it in place of the airbox and feed it with a homemade cold air flow.
or should i rip out all the pipework thru the turbo/ breather system/ intercooler?? and funny vertical snorkel up in front of the airbox and beside the radiator and start from scratch???
Any other option or suggestions welcomed?
I am happy to make up a system myself with bits rather than an (expensive) off the shelf system as i am happy round an engine bay and using tools.
Cheers all, Martin
