I think your best bet is just taking your old stereo into Halfords (or similar) and finding a spray to match the colour.
I tried that when I did mine, I took the ashtay in with me as it was lighter to carry around than the stereo, went along the rack of grey/sliver paint holding the ashtray against the caps of the tins of paint.
Back and forth I went and bought what I thought was the closest match. Bought a can of undercoat too. Painted it all up and.....it's nothing like it.
There isn't too much of the fascia visible but it still bugs me, in fact, I was going to post a similar thread myself this morning, quite a coincidence this thread.
