Hi all, did my cambelt, variator and waterpump at the weekend, all went well, and car runs better than before (previous job had been done by the tippex king).
On Sunday, I got the MCSF warning, car seemed as normal. Plugged it in to FES on my return and both lambdas per and post cat reported failures. Just happened to be the ones I'd unplugged to take the rocker cover off.
I cleared the codes, did a self adaptation reset and cleaned the connections with contact cleaner, silicone sprayed the rubber seals and all seemed fine until about an hour ago when I popped out for lunch.
Haven't actually had the car running with FES attached, just wondered if I'd damaged the wiring moving the ignition coils? It was a bit stiff, but i didn't use any unreasonable force, and the coils and AC are fine.
Anyone done this or had this happen before?
I'll get the codes read on my return home, just hope I haven't damaged the loom.
