Re: Glovebox lever falling off soon!!!
I had this problem on my 147 until recently, mine had completely fallen off and the screw has dissapeared? No more rattles anyway.
I quite like the flush fit inside my glovebox (it looks quite neat) I didn't fancy wrecking it so I came up with another idea and it works brilliant, even my 8 year old can't break it, takes 5 minutes.
Goto your local B&Q or hardware store and get a tube of No Nail or a simular product such as Grips like Nails. Put this on the surfaces of the handle that come into contact with the front of the glovebox, you will see clearly when you hold them up to one another. Push in place and hold for 5 minutes, leave overnight to dry, it says 24hrs on the tube? And hey presto, one fixed and indestructible handle.
Might not be the best solution, but you certainly can't see any glue and it aint ever going to break, that stuff is harder than Tyson
Hope this helps
