Pollen filter, where is it?

Daft question I know, but where is the pollen filter on a 156 and how do you get at it? I've got a Workshop Manual on CD, but I'm blowed if I can find any reference on it to this subject!

Re: Pollen filter, where is it?

Under the front lower windscreen surround on the passenger side (UK). You might be able to see it by pulling the rubber strip off that seals the back of the bonnet. Otherwise it's not a major job to take the screws out and lift it a bit. Careful as the two sides have overlapping lugs at the centre.

But if you don't have A/C, you won't have one.

On my Repair CD under Heating and ventilation (funny if you consider the above!).

50 Auxiliary
-> 5010 Heating and ventilation - misc
-> 5010B air pipes and ducts
-> 5010B9 Purifying filter (antipollen).

Although the images seem to suggest it's on the driver's side (UK)

cheers, Gary
