GT.Clover 170 Q2

Interesting old post?

I've done everything wheel wise to the GT...Spacers...18's with 235's...19x8.5's with 10mm front spacers etc

The pirelli P zero's work great in the dry awesome tyre for communicative feedback, (in the dry) Blaming the tyres was not correct in this thread. The wheels he states are probably 19's. You widen the track slightly and you get increased tramlining..You fit wider 8.5j wheels you get tramlining. Wider tyres you get tramlining. Its hot horrendous but noticeable. After experimenting with 235/40/18's on my oem clover 18's i can say it has given me slight problems..Catching in the arch, tramlining..etc. I managed to achieve a slightly better ride quality, and i think the oem wheels with wider tread do look much better. But realistically gains are minimal.
Strangely though my 19x8.5's with 235/35/19's don't catch at all in the arch in fast cornering etc? Which is strange? Even spaced out the same in the arch?
