156 sportwagon 1.6-fuelling issues

I am getting an intermittent engine waring light.

There are no perfomance issues, everyhing runs as normal. There are no particular contions that cause the loght to come on & systemr resets at will.

Codes read as follows;

P1177 Mixture 1 strength

P1178 Mixture 2 strength

The N0.1 Lambda sensor was recently replaced.

Any ideas or advice welcome

is it CF2 or CF3 engine?

also have you tried unplugging the maf and going for a run, see if it feels any different?

Note that with the MAF unplugged idle will be horrible, maybe even stall, but once up and running should go like a stabbed rat. if it feels no different once up and running your MAF is fine.
