many thanks.. ps car only cuts out when driving, if its out of gear and stationary it revs up to the red line without a hitch. when driving excelleration to 3000+ revs it suddenly stalls, and the injector light comes on. its then a real pain to start (as though its flooded) a wait of a minute or so and it fires up right away, usually cuts out when accellerating up the slip road going onto a motorway..any advice is much appreciated
the air flow sensor is a well know fault that can stop you being able
to rev cleanly and all the way.
your fault may or may not be due to this.what you can do is unplug
your amf sensor,it plugs in under your air filter, on the side of the
airfilter box,if your problem goes away or seems better then it could be
the sensor at fault.i have my doubts, as it sounds alot like what used
to happen on petrol turbo engines that overboosted, and i suppose if
yours was overboasting it would ask the injectors for far more fuel
which could lead to too higher pressure in the injectors.which could
mean the turbo actuator is not working proper, or a sensor of some
please this is only my 2 pennies worth.
