Thinking of buying a 2.4 JTD 156

So I'm keeping the Spider but am also needing something a bit more practical. I have been considering a 2.4 JTD 156 with just over 200k on the clock.

Cam belt was done at abpout 180k. All electrics are working fine. Smokes no more than any other diesel either.

If I buy it, what pitfalls do those with experience think I should I be looking for before I head off for a jaunt to Italy in it?!

(It really doesn't matter if it blows up the day we get home, but we do want to get home!)
