Clutch pedal release cylinder bush
i recently had a problem with my 51plate 147 where i caught my foot on the underside of my clutch pedal and it popped up. I pushed it back down and it was fine all the way home. Got back in it the next day and when i pushed the clutch it just bottomed out and hit the floor and stuck there.
I found that the release cylinder had come of the clutch pedal due to the rubber bush between it and the pedal had started to disintegrate. It is now struggling to stay on.
I have searched the net for this part but it seems that not all 147s have this bush. It seems that the release cylinder just attaches directly to the pedal arm with no bush on the diagrams i have seen.
This diagram from ePER shows that item 8 is a washer to hold the cylinder onto the pedal, on mine there is the bush on the pedal that the cylinder arm goes over.
