My special import 156 2.0 Twin Spark. I miss thee.
While hunting around for some photos of an Alfa 156 GTA I owned previously, I stumbled on this one photo of the car I had previous to the GTA. I imported this 156 Twin Spark manual from Japan (had about 50,000km on the clock) as it looked gorgeous and had a bit of aftermarket work done on it.
When it arrived I was quite surprised by how much work:
-Lowered on Sportivo suspension (full kit, apparently quite expensive).
-Full stainless exhaust by some aftermarket Japanese motorcycle exhaust company (name escapes me now). Sounded beautiful.
-OZ lightweight racing alloys.
-Full body kit (I know it was a German manufacturer, but like the name of the exhaust, name escapes me. Maybe someone here will recognise it?).
Was a beautiful car, and looking back, why oh why did I sell??? But had to go to make room for the GTA. I still hold the view the 156 is perhaps the most beautiful looking medium sixe sedan ever made IMO.
