My Sportwagon shopping list...

Hi all, my Sportwagon is poorly and needs some TLC.

I have been in touch with Carl from Alfashop Norwich and have to say he is very helpful.

I will be booking my Alfa in for a health check for £55, i'm doing this just to be sure everything is ok including the compression ect.

I know it needs the following:

Cambelt kit (including Pulleys, Tension ect)

Variator (Noisy all the time )

Rocker cover Gasket (leaking)

I was quoted £450 for all that fitted and including VAT, which I thought was very good.

I know she also needs new disks and pads all round, brake fluid, and an oil and filter change, these are jobs I can do by myself and I found a full pad and disk kit for £100 of ebay...what's the general consensus on these? My car is only a 1.6 so I don't need mega good brakes....

Oh, and she also needs a rear tyre

I will be giving her a full T-cut and have brought a Simoniz Pro scratch remover pen to tidy up the scratches on her.

Wish me luck!
