Brake & Clutch bleeding tips

Hi all

going to have a go at bleeding all my brakes, also including the clutch,

bought this clutch and brake pressure bleeder off Amazon and used it on my sisters Ka to test it out before i do mine

As her ford is a non ABS simple brake master servo set up, i had to bleed in sequence

1. N/S Front
2. O/S Rear
3. O/S Front
4. N/S Rear

As mine and all other 156's are all ABS, i take it there is no sequence, as i have checked my workshop manual and it mentions no sequence.

i also read that to bleed the clutch, you have to pull the holding pin out that holds the clutch hose in one click and that will allow the fluid to come out of the bleed nipple.

Used this pressure bleeder twice now, very quick to do if you haven't got a helping hand.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I would start by draining the reservoir, remove it form the bulk head to get all the fluid out, then add fresh fluid.

Then start with the clutch, once thats 100% flushed you know you now have new fluid for the brakes.
