Hi guys, i'm in the process of putting my engine back together after replacing the DMF and clutch kit, many.....many hours spent, but I think i'm on the last leg now. (thanks for all the help I've had posting my problems on here) hopefully my last question on this job. In the centre of the car underneath, back from the engine, there is a small shaft vertical from the inside of the car to the floor. when removing the gear box I took off the pieces that were located on this shaft, from memory there is a nut, holding on a bracket (also attached to the gear box) a round thin disc (size of a jam jar lid?) and a rubber mount. There is also I bar that comes from inside the car and onto this shaft, im guessing its in connection with the gear stick??
I've gone to re-assembly this section but cant for the life of me remember the order in which the rubber, the disc, the bar and the bracket went on?? I have looses attached them in the order that seems logical, but I thought it best to check.
If anyone know the name of the area im trying to describe, or beer still the rder which these parts go on to the shaft, that would be great, thanks, Martin
